Performance Appraisal Tool for Group Exercise Leaders

Evaluating Group Exercise Leader Performance: An Easy and Helpful Tool exercise coordinators on how to properly use this tool such as: (1) providing each group exercise leader (GEL) with this form upon hiring so they know how they will be evaluated and its major purpose – to help them improve their job performance, (2) time frame for performance appraisals, (3) having each GEL use the PAT for completing a self-appraisal, (4) discussion and feedback, and (5) confidentiality.  Note:  This PAT also can be adapted and used when conducting performance appraisals with personal fitness trainers.
